geezer Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Both Lamar men and women get wins against UIW at home today. The ladies played this afternoon outscoring UIW in each of the first three quarters to get a 78-62 victory. The ladies were led by Wilson and Miner with 23 and 16 points perfectively. In the evening game the men got a 63-51 win in a game that was tighter than the final score reflected. East led the way for Lamar with 23 points and an archaistically low five rebounds. Lee and Holifield joined East in double figures with 13 and 11 points. Both teams played tough defense and kept the other from getting a lot of open looks. Quote
