geezer Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I don't know how long the current arrangement is set for, but placing the tournament in Lake Charles was one of the conditions the Southland agreed to when McNeese was considering joining the WAC in that year when Lamar and the others left the conference. I think the new McNeese arena was under construction, so they were going to have the largest venue, and it was still geographically near the center of the remaining seven or eight teams. Quote

In reverse to get seat you walk up that mountain. Lamar seats 10,000 walking up is a little tough but inside going to your seat not so bad. Us older folks. The concessions floor at Lamar needs lighting up grades to me. Just me. Quote
