coachacola
The Lamar Athletics website has updated the 2012 roster with all the freshmen and transfers. Running back Darrell Harris from Waco is on the roster but Darryl Waters isn't. Hopefully Waters doesn't have to sit this year out. 6'3, 300 lb DL Marcus Washington is another newcomer I haven't heard much about. He's a sophomore transfer from Ft. Scott CC. He and Okafor add a lot of size to the defensive line over last year. LAZEEK
Source tells me to expect a 4th player from Oklahoma State to sign with Lamar. He is a linebacker.

LUSportsFan
Interesting. We may need to change our colors to Red and Orange. :)
Jay_Red
If this keeps up, we might be considered Stillwater South. ;D

Big T
Keep em coming! Well as long as they come here, put in the work, and succeed. LB is another soft spot on this team.

Guest CardAmbassador
I don't think LB is that soft of a spot for this team, we're getting back Washington (2nd best LB last year IMO behind Hicks) from a foot injury, we also have Beard, Longino (Juco all american), and some promising freshmen. I might be missing someone. Plus the 3-4 scheme should help us use alot more of our smaller guys effectively. The loss of Hicks is sad though, what a fun guy to watch, he was the heart of the defense last year IMO.
AceHigh
In your opiniion and mine too. Hicks was a blast to watch and will be missed. i wish he could have been here with some of these new guys that are coming in.
