Cplatt Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 It all starts with the O-Line. Bad blocking and botched snaps. Sims is nobody if he has no blocking. Alls he needs is a seem and let him do the work. Our QB's need to throw for more than 80 yrds if you want an effective running game. PV wont be as talented as ULL but they are not just getting off the bus and laying down. Also stick with a QB. If you have 2 QB's you dont have 1. This team doesnt have a leader and the QB should step up. Cplatt Quote
Guest LU 17 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Is the BRI nation meeting anywhere before the game... Quote

(I know this question should have it's own thread but I'm just curious..) We had a separate thread for this last season it was pretty popular, might need to start one back up. Quote
Big T Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Got my ticket today after class!!! Can't wait! Quote
Guest LU 17 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I would love to hook up with you guys before the game, if nothing else to introduce myself and meet some of you guys. We seem to have a pretty good group of regulars that know a little about football. Anyway, I will be at the game saturday and will be there early to hang out with friends. Quote
TBonesLU Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Where do most of y'all In BRI NatIon tailgate before games? (I know this question should have it's own thread but I'm just curious..) I'm in Dallas, so I'll be watching online. I wasn't going to post this, but I will be comfortable at home on my couch. Quote
coachacola Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Massey Ratings gives Lamar as 73% of winning, predicting a 35-28 win. I think it'll be more like a 31-14 Lamar win. No way does Prairie View score more than 21 points, last year they probably would have but not this year. Also noticed they also have McMurry ranked higher than Prairie View A&M, but they did beat UTSA last year. Link: http://masseyratings.com/team.php?t=3935&s=181623 Quote
BigRedTrack Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 PV did put some points on the board in their game last week. But I think our defense will come at them and control the line of scrimmage. I think we should be 20 point favorites. Quote
Guest bigred360 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Great stuff CA as always! You are the man. Quote

Guest LU4LIFE Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 They really need to build a wall to block that view. Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 They really need to build a wall to block that view. +1000 Should have happened 20 years ago!! Quote
BigNasty92 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 They really need to build a wall to block that view. +1000 Should have happened 20 years ago!! 20? Should have happened 50 years ago. lol I can only imagine what the view was like from inside the stadium before the Montagne was built. I had heard that when Larry Tidwell was AD, that he was lobbying for something like that to happen...a wall, trees, something. Quote
coachacola Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Yea I remember hearing that to It'll take money from donations to get that wall built. That's what Tidwell was talking about when he was A.D. I think the old master plan called for planting trees back there too. Quote
Austin Card Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Lets get a campaign going. Everybody pitches in and buys a tree. Ill start if need be. Everything is so nice around there and then you have to look at those nasty refineries. I think that plant back there is getting pretty old, maybe they will shut it down and move it soon. Quote
