coachacola
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. Or, anyway, to the four men in the small, windowless room of the Montagne Center who make the magic behind the snazzy $1.5 million scoreboard and video screen at Provost Umphrey Stadium. Not unlike the Wizard of Oz, who pulled levers and threw switches to create an awe-inspiring persona, Clint Burges and his staff wield computer keyboards and digital equipment to generate a dazzling display for the crowd as well as streaming video for Internet viewers. Of course, many other people - about 20 in all - are involved in taking the action from the field and putting all the pieces together, said Burges, whose title of video coordinator doesn't seem to completely express the range of his activities. lcard05
That's great! Hopefully it doesn't sound like a $69 delco radio like it did for the Pra A&M game. That was horrible..
