October 1, 201213 yr You know, normally showing Lamar football games on TV would be a good idea when it's an away game, but won't this make a lot of local football fans angry at Lamar and Fox 4? The way the football stunk it up Saturday, maybe it would be in both Lamar's and Fox 4's best interest to tape delay the Lamar game.

October 1, 201213 yr Author They do have a contract with Lamar. In their defense, Fox 4 had this game on their broadcast schedule for months. It was only until this week when National Fox decided to carry the WVU/tu game nationally. Smart play would be to tape delay the Lamar game but I am pretty sure Fox 4 has sponsors committed for a live broadcast of Lamar. That have to honor the contract.
October 1, 201213 yr The article has been updated. Many people called and complained to Fox. Now the UT game will be aired live and Lamar will be tape delayed.
