Next Lamar opponent runs fast-paced offense

Hmm, Coach! I wonder why they run that wide open spread? Is it maybe that they are a little smaller school? Maybe by running fast pace the Defense gets a little tired and can't pin their ears back and come hard for the QB every down. Maybe spread them out and make it hard to cover. Or probably...THEY RECRUITED ALL SPREAD ATHLETES SO THEY RUN A SPREAD...WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT...

Maybe email this to our OC, wait! I forgot he is like 70 and runs a scheme of the 50's so he probably is not into computers,,,,

good post coach I saw where you were going with this...

When Kueck was hired he said that he was going to run the offense that best fit the talent. I'm thinking he saw Moss as a pro-style QB, saw the experienced TEs and young WRs, and figured that's the kind of offense to run.

It's a shame that LU's good defense (not great but they are keeping the team competitive so far in the SLC) is being wasted. I'm still hopeful the team can win more than 4 games this year but outside of Nicholls, SELA and NW State were the two best opportunities for wins in the conference.

"During his first tenure in Beaumont, the Lamar passing game put up the most prolific numbers in school history." from the LU athletic site
