I agree that being fast is necessary but I believe they are football fast but the real problem is the route running. They look horrible, plus the offense lacks and creativity. If KJ is such a lighting rod get the damn guy the ball. Bubble screens, jet sweeps...whatever it takes. Score some damn points. Quit trying to play grown man football when you have an undersized line.

FCS and FBS teams have zero respect for our wide receivers. They were playing KJ and 86 man to man all night and they couldn't get open.

I agree, I won't say the Sam game is a good indication of that because they man up on everyone. They even did it against Baylor. Their corners are good but still the receivers run piss poor routes and to add to that problem have no time to get open due to the lack of blitz recongnition by the line and RB's.

does anyone else feel like we just don't target KJ enough? Wildcat, slot receiver, quarterback (can he throw?) ANYTHING!! he is clearly our biggest threat and against the teams we should look to him against, the Hawaiis the lafayette game(no balls thrown his way in either game). Even this past weekend, coach kueck does not call plays to get him the ball. Move him around the formations, motion him around before the snap, make the defenses key on him and stop him. Then, once they adjust, find Barry Ford, dump it to Mcvey, and things of that nature.. And for crying out loud ZONE BLOCK WITH THE OFFENSIVE LINE..they are too small.

Jettyman and I had that same exact conversation on Saturday re: getting KJ the ball. I don't get Keuck's play calling at all. Does Berry EVER check out of a play?

They did try to get him the ball several times in ONE series but then again it was essentially the same play. They tried to isolate the Sam DB and throw the back shoulder fade. It worked once out of three attempts.
