From Tuesday night practice:

Avi Zaleon ‏@avi_zaleon

Lamar WR Kevin Johnson still suspended. Also, no early front runner in QB battle of Moss and Berry #BEscores

Avi Zaleon ‏@avi_zaleon 2h

And we have a Ryan Mossakowski sighting. Starting QB from last year on baseball team, here for practice instead of baseball game #BEscore

The program's original freshmen, who redshirted their first year in 2009, are now seniors. The group represents Woodard's first graduating class of players that did not transfer into the school.

"They've grown up with the program," Woodard said. "They've been through times when we were out-manned, young and thin. But our program has developed kind of how they have. (Offensive lineman) Kyle Gillam, we threw him out there when he was 18-years-old to play center against McNeese. Now he's a senior weighing 295 and was probably 245 then."

There doesn't seem to be much interest in the football team this spring. That's not a good sign heading into the season. I have my doubts that the offense will be much better. Has anybody actually attended any practices or scrimmages?

@avi_zaleon: From today's scrimmage: Caleb Berry 6/9 for 78 yards and a TD. Ryan Mossakowski 2/7 for 56 yards and an INT.

Sounds like more of the same from what I saw last week.

Avi Zaleon@avi_zaleon .@bigredinsider o-line did work opening holes for Richards. Nashon Davis with a 52-yard pick 6. Offense scored 4 TDs on 8 drives.

@avi_zaleon oline has looked improved so far. Richards has been impressive too. My biggest concern early is the d line.

Avi Zaleon@avi_zaleon Woodard added that Dir. of football ops Chuck Langston is the new offensive line coach and Brett Ramsey has taken Langston's old job

#LUFootball wraps up third week of spring practice. Cards have outstanding play on both sides of the ball in... http://fb.me/2oWpC33xt

Article says Payton Ploch is now a running back and Caleb Harmon is back from injury. Michael Handy is also back from injury at WR. He should get a lot of playing time this year.

Hopefully we will see a lot of Ford and maybe just maybe someone will remember that Sparks can catch just about anything thrown his way (and, hold on to it)!!

No kidding!!!!
