panchovilla Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Kats by 2 scores in 2012. Tx State.........haha We wouldn't lose to some little league school who can only put 8k in their high school stadium despite being ranked and undefeated. You don't have the depth nor the size to play with us. There's a reason why people from that obscure Southland school don't talk trash to us. You may be top tier FCS but you're not even a blip on the radar in FBS where we play big boy football. Sam v. Baylor 23-48 Sam v. A&M 27-48 UofH v. Either of those 2 7-48 Just sayin do the math, my guess would be Sam 48 Houston 45
cougar king Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Cougar High is too scared to schedule Sam because they know they'd get their asses WHIPPED. How can you call us Cougar High when Lamar students average 850 on their SAT? (That's Math and CR) Explain to me how we would get our "asses whipped" when Sam had a dogfight with New Mexico, one of the worst teams in FBS? I know some Lamar folks are stupid as shown in these replies (I should know, I'm from Beaumont and got up out of there as fast as I could after I graduated High School.) That being said, LU would stand ZERO chance against us on the field. (Hence why you guys are trying to bring up Sam instead of talking about your own crappy team in a 15k stadium you can't fill up. What's even worse is that the people who do come, often wear other schools' tshirts to the game as discussed on here and SETXsports.com's forums) Sam v. Baylor 23-48 Sam v. A&M 27-48 UofH v. Either of those 2 7-48 Just sayin do the math, my guess would be Sam 48 Houston 45 First off, you only say UofH, you don't type or write it. Second of all, you can't even explain how Sam would beat us. We have superior talent, depth and size across the board. On top of which, if they couldn't stop 1-11 New Mexico from scoring at will, then how in the hell would they stop our Air Raid? Sam could barely score on Baylor's horrific defense, who is the exact same team that scored 63 points and still lost. I know there's no such thing as logic in Beaumont (Spent 14 unfortunate years growing up there) but you guys know your place. What does that say about Lamar when the Sun Belt of all conferences turn their noses up at you.

Second of all, my explanation is Sam will beat your "superior talent" with their regular talent by using your "size and depth" against you with their size and depth while also holding "your air raid offense" to less points than they allowed A&M to score with their air raid offense. Anybody else care to disagree besides this guy with all his infinite wisdom?

cougar king Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 "Air raid"? LOL you're an.even bigger douche than I thought you were. Pure comedy. If you knew anything about football, you would know that was the name of the offense we run.

If you knew anything about football, you would know that was the name of the offense we run. I've probably forgotten more about football than you'll probably ever learn. What it shows (besides that you are a douche) is what little attention I pay to Cougar High. Unlike you, I wasn't a walk on "wanna be". I actually got a scholarship and football paid for my education. Now go put the jocks and socks in the dryer, "Little Fella".
BigNasty92 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Now that's no fun. :-) I do think we should all start referring to him as "Rudy".
panchovilla Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 With that being said I still expect Dausin to win the job, gotta be better than what we have now. I'm still waiting for him to reply to my comment, but I guess he's run out of wise things to say.
Guest LU 17 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Not to get off topic, but anybody tell Rudy that UH switch conferences to the superdeduperfun conference or whatever its called. Looks like our chances to get to BCS game are about as good as UH's. We are glad to have the new QB.

I'm still waiting for him to reply to my comment, but I guess he's run out of wise things to say. Sam doesn't have size or depth. They have 63 scholarship players, most of whom weren't even recruited by FBS schools. Like I said, if they couldn't stop New Mexico, one of the worst FBS offense from scoring then how would they stop a traditional offensive juggernaut from scoring? Hell, we only won 5 games this past year (which is more than LU has won in the last 30) and we still had the 11th best passing offense in the country, we still averaged well over 500-600 yards of total offense a game. Jeez, does anybody around here know anything about football. Maybe one of you could take the HC job in that case because the current guy in charge doesn't seem to have a clue. Not to get off topic, but anybody tell Rudy that UH switch conferences to the superdeduperfun conference or whatever its called. Looks like our chances to get to BCS game are about as good as UH's. We are glad to have the new QB. Oh Lord. You are in the SOUTHLAND conference, you were rejected by the freaking SUN BELT. It doesn't get any worse than that...then again, the WAC told you no so I suppose it can. Another reason you're obviously a moron is because the AAC still has a BCS AQ bid for its conference champion this year. But on topic, Dausin, is far far better than anybody you currently have (huge talent gap between UH and LU) and I'm almost 100% sure he will be your starter on opening day.

Well to be honest, yes, there are many more things about football that can be learned, but that goes for anybody and everybody. You in particular have yet to learn that football is not played on paper by stats (I.e. 500 yd passing games), it is played on the field by players and no matter how many stats you throw out there Sam Houston will still give your deeply oversized "felines" a run for their money. And one other thing to point out, there must not be that big of a talent gap if your guys are leaving to go to lamar.

Dausin was 4th string at best when he was here, he's going to LU so he can start. A guy who didn't even travel half of the time is projected to be the starter at another school. If that doesn't scream large talent gap then apparently I don't know what does.

He has a good possibility of starting yes but again doesn't mean he will. Hell I know a guy that was second string for you guys a couple years back that went to Sam and didn't even start so please stop throwing your petty stats out their that show nothing. You my friend are just like Lamar, near the bottom of the barrel and looking for a way to get out.
BigNasty92 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Let me let you in on a little secret, "Rudy"...He didn't travel at all last year because he was a redshirt, you dumbass. Redshirts don't make the travel squad. If you actually were more than just a never was recruited, walk-on wanna be, fan boy, you would have probably known that.

You my friend are just like us, near the bottom of the barrel and looking for a way to get out. \ How many years is a couple? (If it wasn't during the Briles or Sumlin years then it's irrelevant) To compare our two schools is a complete insult. You're a low tier Southland team who can't even get the Sun Belt to take you. (Benson would sell his soul to the devil if he knew he could land UH in the Sun Belt.) We on the other hand, are in a BCS conference. We can go to any G5 conference (MWC, MAC, Sun Belt, CUSA and AAC) we want. Our goal is a P5 conference. (SEC, Big XII, PAC, B!G, ACC) Again, we are nothing alike. We have more money (our endowment alone is about 8 times the size of LU's. Our athletic budget is 3-4 times the size of LU's) Better facilities, much bigger fanbase, actual relevance in sports, actual political power in Austin, one of the biggest markets in the country, we don't play bodybag games. As a matter of fact, we pay teams like yours to come to our stadium so we can give you a beatdown. If you want UH to come to Beaumont, you'll have to build something a lot bigger than that glorified high school stadium. (Knowing SETX better than anywhere else in the world, I know high schools such as PNG, Nederland and West Brook/Central/Ozen outdraw LU ) And let's not get started on the debacle where LU's game got pulled off the air in favor of a whorn game.
panchovilla Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 The year would be during the Sumlin era and and until you get back to the top of your conference your team is just like Lamar plain and simple.
KABrother88 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I'm having a hard time trying to figure out this guys motive to bash Beaumont and Lamar...Lamar is no where on U of H's radar and we don't claim to be...just seems like the high school senior that the only people that know he exists are the underclassmen he tries to mess with...yet they just laugh at him As far as the topic of this thread...hope the guy works out at LU...if nothing else it should create a good competition in August and push the older guys to play better than they have
Guest LU 17 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Did the cougar queen say they pay schools to give them a beat down. Didnt they lose one of those beat down games(Texas state 30-13). Averaged 500-600 yards of passing O and still lost. I don't follow cougar high, so I am not familiar with wins and losses. The only person comparing UH to LU is you queen. I guess the let's befriends conference doesn't have any fan sites. Or, you are scared to get on their sites because you might piss them off. Either way you must be a very very lonely boy to keep getting on our site to brag about your football program. Let's see when the big 12 formed UH got left out. I wonder why the left out a school with such a high endowement, attendance, revenue and a political power in Austin. Oh, I almost forgot your massive TV market. Funny, I live in a suburb of Houston and I never see UH on national TV. Go play on TAMU's or UT's fan site. I am sure they will be more appreciative or your knowledge or lack threreof of UH football. Queen I bet you felt that UH was the best 5-7 team in the country. I wonder why UH doesn't have any big name schools on this years schedule. It's a money game but at least we are man enough to take on a big time program in OK State. Your big game is BYU...I guess. If you feel the need to post and want to be critical about LU football, keep in mind nobody here gives a crap about UH football.

Nice try, but this is why Oklahoma State no longer wants to play us: When the Big 12 was formed, we didn't have a lot of things we currently have (i.e. budget and UH lobbyists) so your argument is invalid. I like how everybody has dodged my question about why LU thinks they can call us Cougar High when their students only average 850 on their SATs and have virtually no admission standards. People that get rejected from UH get accepted into Lamar. So if we're a HS then that make's Lamer U (is what we called it back at my old HS) a middle school then.
Guest LU 17 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Again queen, I will say that the only people comparing UH to LU is yourself. This isn't a UH LU comparison site. We don't care about UH football or UH anything. I am sure Ok State is so glad UH isn't on the schedule this year. Gundy is breathing a sigh of relief. You sound like one of those guys that has a a chip on his shoulder because he only grew to be 5 foot and never got picked when somebody played a pick up game. It's ok little fella...but this is an LU fan site. I'm sure with all your big TV market, you can find a site where you can talk UH football. That site is not here...
nickels Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 People that get rejected from DeVry get accepted into Lamar. FIFY They would never consider UH. They wouldn't be able to live with mommy and daddy anymore. How many QBs are ya'll going to juggle this season? 3? 4? Quite a show RayRay has out there.

Cplatt Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 WOW, we got some good ones on here. they can go to UH because is a commuter school as well. Hence the name "Cougar High" I am a big UH fan i just think when Sumlin left, he took all the recruits with him. Levine aint no better than RayRay. Rex will def have the upper hand in my opinion, still gotta block for the guy. Cplatt
