    These folks put so much into massey ratings. It has us (28)behind both sela (21) and South Dakota (10). Massey hating on LU. i think theres a really good chance now of 3 slc teams making it, baring major screwup. The big sky and mvfc are a mess after mt, mt st, and ndsu. The caa may take a spot if nh wins out , even with 4 losses. Or if they stick 2 from the ivy. Sfsu and monmouth both lost qbs, and its showing. plain fact is some of these know it allsthink didly squat of the SLC and thats a shame.

    We just have a better passing offense with McCown at QB (not that it’s to Pudfin’s standards) Have we not learned, in 3 years, Rossomando is a run run run offense?

    Louisiana schools are in a bad way financially. Even lsu had hiring freeze.

    Lafayette does alot more to promote the cajuns, than the golden triangle does for lamar. And they have/had? Ragin cajun beer, cigars, sonic burger, signage, etc…but they had a 4 year run of good teams and attendance dropped. Like us,they battle the other school for fans. This year they did away with their 2 dollar natty light! Pas bon!

    They just completed a redo/down size of cajun field in Lafayette. Its pretty dang nice. i think downsizing is the going trend for mid majors

    Well, Im a Coleman supporter, altho I like McCown too. It doesnt matter who starts cuz we’re still gonna hand the ball up the gut too many dang times. Its Rossamando calling plays and he’d rather run than pass. He wants to run and control the clock. And when we do pass, we rarely go over 10 yd passes. Got 3 tight ends out there all the time, kinda limits things. and why the need to play rb shuffle? we got lucky in …3? Previous games. The D has been playing well. The offense, or lack of it….just a matter of time before that came to screw us.

    Ha! my ideas are seldom called wisdom. I think the only way the slc gets 3 in, is for sela to be on the bubble and get in due to kinda getting hosed last year? 6-1 in conference. Brutal OOC schedule last year and it bit em on the arse. the big wigs are pretty down on the slc this year. I HOPE we get 2. I think we will unless weird stuff happens. i just hope the uiw team that was on the field for the first half vs utrgv is who shows up to play us. Dont like em, theyve won the last 5. that out of the way…..throw the ball!

    I believe Monmouth and sdsu have starting qb injuries that said, i dont think theres any way sdsu doesnt get a bye. once you get outta the top few…and having their home field advantages, lots of parity in the next 15 or so teams nicholls old qb transferred to villinova. Having an ok year
