  1. Today
  2. Coach, I went to Athlinkd but they have a pay wall. Is there a FCS top 25 portal list. I see LU was ranked 3rd.
  3. Yesterday
  4. SFA comes back with another three pointer to retake the lead following a timeout.
  5. With 12:17 left in the game Lamar is up by one point 58-57 on a Lowe three pointer, a steal and a dunk by Pennebaker. Big move by Lamar.
  6. Lamar closes out the half with about a sixty-foot heave from Lowe that goes through with the clock at zero to finish the half only down two points 43-41.
  7. Men are down by five points with 3:56 left in the first half. SFA has been shooting an outstanding 63% from the field on nine of fourteen three point attempts. Many of those have been with a hand in their face. Lamar is shooting a reasonable 41%.
  8. Ladies get a hard fought ten-point win over the Lady Jacks 73-63. Cards defense was solid and held SFA under their scoring average. Wilson was the leading scorer with 29 points followed by Denley with ten points as the only two Lamar players in double figures. Lamar had a 43-26 edge in rebounding.
  9. Lamar men and women host SFA Saturday beginning with the women tipoff at one PM. Both games are big ones with the women tied for second in the conference one game back of McNeese. The men are a little further back of first place SFA and must win if they want a chance to climb back to the top or at least be in the top four when the conference tournament gets here.
  10. Last week
  11. As long as Rossomado is calling all the plays and wants to run up the middle 40 times, I dont think it matters who we have at OC. Last years offensive coordinator came in with a bunch of accolades and supposedly high octane offense and we finished 108th in total offense.
  12. I was going to post something about this yesterday. Looks like a change in OC. What are you guys thinking about this? Especially you Puddin.
  13. Impressive class! Hope the hype translates to the grass
  14. Bailey, a 6'2" sophomore cornerback, appeared in six games for UMass in 2024 with one unassisted tackle.
  15. Dotson amassed 10 tackles across 14 games in two FBS seasons at Rice, where limited snaps likely prompted his move to FCS-level Lamar for increased playing time.
  16. 2025 Season - East Central University (NCAA Division II) - Games Played: 10 - Total Tackles: 29 (12 solo, 17 assisted) - Tackles for Loss: 4.5 (9 yards) - Sacks: 2.5 (7 yards) - QB Hurries: 3 - Forced Fumbles: 1 - Other: 0 interceptions, 0 fumble recoveries, 0 pass breakups, 0 blocked kicks, 0 safeties
  17. Green, a class of 2026 sophomore, entered the transfer portal on December 20, 2025, after contributing 12 tackles—including five for loss—in all 13 games during his freshman season at FBS-level Rice.
  18. McDonald, a 6'0" redshirt sophomore from Houston's Fort Bend Bush High School, posted solid 2025 NJCAA stats including 30 tackles, 2 interceptions, 4 pass breakups, and 1 fumble recovery, positioning him for an immediate role in Lamar's FCS secondary. The commitment came after recent offers from Southland Conference peers SFA and McNeese.
  19. Washington impressed with 29 tackles and 3 tackles for loss over 11 games last season, bringing athleticism and speed to Lamar's secondary.
  20. Williams, a Temple, Texas native, entered the transfer portal on January 2, 2026, after two seasons at FBS-level Houston, where he played in 12 games in 2024, logging 349 offensive snaps and contributing 127 receiving yards with 1 touchdown.
  21. McNeese b.ball arena is nice and new but has seating cap. of 4200. and to get to your seat it's like walking down a side of a mountain. In reverse to get seat you walk up that mountain. Lamar seats 10,000 walking up is a little tough but inside going to your seat not so bad. Us older folks. The concessions floor at Lamar needs lighting up grades to me. Just me.
  22. Our inexperience at PG is hurting this team. Wilhite would be solid off the bench but there’s a big dropoff from what Pryor and Jackson brought to this team last year.
  23. Lamar falls by thirteen 89-76. Cardinals couldn't overcome the foul trouble. Lamar finished the game shooting 39% from the field, but UNO shot better at 54%. Lamar made seven more three-pointers than UNO but in the end when UNO shot twenty-five more free throws than Lamar it's just hard to overcome.
  24. Lamar down by seven with 8:15 left in the game. Although the total fouls for both teams aren't that for apart, Lamar is getting called for ticky tack fouls that UNO isn't. Lamar also not shooting a good enough percentage, shooting 33% so far in the game.
  25. Lamar down by five (41-36) at the half and lucky it is only that much. White picked up two early fouls and sat on the bench much of the half. Lee picked up his second foul with twelve minutes left, going out and not returning and Holifield picked up a second foul with six minutes left but came back in as Lamar wasn't getting any offense going but picked up a third foul with 1:37 left in the half. UNO is fourteen of twenty-one from the free throw line.
