is there video anywhere of that UCA td catch?...still cant believe he caught it.

Took me a while to find it, but there are a couple of looks starting around the :49 sec mark of the linked video from the Southland Conference site (Southland Spotlight: 10/24/2013). There are some other good highlights across the conference, including some for us.

Back to the UCA td catch, that was definitely an up for grabs pass and we came out on the short end.

Based on one of the Southeastern highlights, it looks like we'll need to defend the outside runs...probably some others also.

A little like this play except our game had a little more time remaining...

...too bad we were on the defending side.

Looking at the picture in our game and the SLC video, I still don't know how that ball was not knocked away. Looks like Hunter and Davis had the pass well defended.

Oh well, let's move on to the next game. No time for for "Dandy" Don Meredith's poem, "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas."

Let's take care of Southeastern this week!

Again, the UCA receiver wanted the ball more than our 2 defenders combined!! Plain and simple!!

To me it looks like Hunter is falling backwards and imagining the next frame his hands drop below the height of the ball before the UCA receiver pulls the ball into his chest. The defender on the side may not be as close as the picture makes it look.
