Card Nation Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 We competed with SAM and should have beat a Central Arkansas team that just demolished SFA. I think maybe so.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
coachacola Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Only TCU scored more points against SELA than Lamar did. SFA's high-powered offense only scored 14 against them. They do seem to play a lot better at home than on the road. We'll see how good they are starting Saturday since they play McNeese, UCA, then SHSU all in a row. Quote
WOS95 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 heard on the Ray Ray show last week that Woodard was worried about SELA more than any other team in the conference because of their explosive offense Quote
geezer Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 SAM is reasonably one dimensional on offense, they run over people. My opinion SELA has a better overall qb, so their passing game was able to spread LU's defense and open up the field, at least in the LU vs SELA game. UCA lost their number one qb the week before we played them so I think they were sort of a work in progress at the start of the LU game. Their offense seemed to improve as the game progressed. Like Coach said though the next three weeks will tell the tail. Quote
coachacola Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Their QB transferred from Oregon after he lost the starting job to someone else. He isn't the regular FBS transfer with baggage or injury issues. Quote

No Iowa hasnt won a game (and is 0-4 in conference) since they slaughtered mcNeese..SELA lost to the 7th place team in that conference Quote
BigNasty92 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 SELA is leading McNeese 20-7 at the half. The Lions deserve way more credit than some of y'all want to give them. Quote
coachacola Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 34-7 now. They seem to be getting better each week. Quote
lcm2007ms Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 41-7 final. NwSt up on CA 31-20 with 8 mins. left Quote
Birdseye Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 SELA now sits alone in first place in the Southland. They sound pretty legit to me. Quote
Card Nation Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 I agree. The answer is 'yes' they are that good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
