jdcurran235 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 If this is true, then that is sad!! Quote
geezer Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 The really sad thing will be if the number of McNeese fans on the east side outnumber the Lamar fans which I believe unfortunately might be possible based on the last three home games. I think well over half of the Lamar fans have been seated on the west side. Quote
coachacola Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Until they start winning attendance isn't going to be that great, simple as that. I'm planning to come to town Saturday and see the game but the weather forecast says it's going to be wet and cold. I doubt we'll see a large crowd for this game either. Quote
LUSportsFan Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Wet and cold can be fun if you are prepared. Ponchos, coats, hot chocolate from the concession stand...don't know if hot chocolate is still sold. :) Alright, I have to admit that it's not as nice as clear and a million. Our ponchos and rain gear is baggedup and ready to go though. Good news is that right now it looks like the chance of rain will deminish Saturday night down to 20 percent. Card Nation Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 It seamed like Me and the other 7599 had a pretty good time last week at the SFA game. The stadium felt energized and exciting to me. Werent there like 3,000 at the Northwestern ST game? I am thankful for what we do have... It could be worse.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
West Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 If this is true, then that is sad!! We have a losing record. THAT is sad. People don't want to watch a team that loses more than it wins. Regardless of the fact that we are better, Coach Woodard has not consistently fielded a good team. Quote
LU 17 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Card nation, I'm with you. I had a great time watching us beat SFA. I will be coming into town come rain or shine. Quote
dacards Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 For all of those who say win first then it will rise, yes you are right but...Lamar is playing better and tied its record for victories (against better opponents in my eyes) since football came back...so there's that. Honestly I think with a sellout crowd Lamar would have won the UCA game and if it were to sellout tonight (not from McNeese) than we could have a chance here as well. Quote
