LAZEEK
Best I could see LU being is 8-8. And that is a stretch.
badndn
Might beat Incarnate Word. They are 10-1, but have played only one D1 school and lost. UNO beat UTEP at EP. Not beating them. HBU beat Rice and hung with Pepperdine and Wright St...Not beating them either. I see maybe two W's. But the "Tuff" non-conference will make us more competitive in the Sucky SLC per PK. UTEP was without their best player. Not saying that will change anything, but I expect a split with UNO
geezer
The conference BB schedule for LU is similar to this years football schedule in that we get the two of the top preseason picks in the first week. How we perform against them will tell a lot about what to expect the rest of the way. The best comparison of conference teams may be records against North Texas. SFA beat NT and the other four lost by at least 9 points, so how we play the first week will set the tone for the rest of the season. If we could salvage a split which I agree is a major stretch, then winning six or seven of the nine conference home games is a decent possibility.
