LAZEEK Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Cards are 1-11, and the Jacks are 11-2. Who you got? Quote
Cplatt Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 SFA by 25 or more. They are a good team with alot of confidence right now. Dont see us even competing. Cplatt Quote
geezer Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I'm being optimistic (maybe unreasonable), I expect a close game. SFA will probably win because the Cards don't know how to win the close ones yet. Quote
coachacola Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Chris Coleman @Brertexan 3h As a season ticket holder I thank @avi_zaleon for calling out @LamarCards basketball. They are terrible and its time someone said so. Quote
geezer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hope the guys play better than the ladies did. Quote
Cplatt Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I like the effort, SFA is the team to beat. Lets hope we can pull one out. Cplatt Quote
LAZEEK Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 SFA 40-38 at half. Hilliard 11 Mitchell 8 Holliday 6 Ross 5 Mattingly 3 Green 3 Wilson 2 LU shot 59% from field Quote
geezer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Good first half in staying within two, however 11 first half turnovers. If LU can keep up the overall effort and cut down on the turnovers there is a good chance to pull the "upset". Quote
geezer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Team can't seem to put two halves together. Poor shooting in the second half from the field. Quote
puddin tane Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 85-65? 650 attendance? Blown out, yet....6-----3 point attempts? Fire the turd....yesterday! Quote
coachacola Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 85-65? 650 attendance? Blown out, yet....6-----3 point attempts? Fire the turd....yesterday! The game was played at SFA so you can't really blame the poor attendance on Pat Knight. But their fans probably assumed (correctly) it was going to be a blowout and didn't bother to attend. Quote
geezer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I know it was at SFA but it seems everybody is starting conference play right after the first of the year but it might be wise in the future to wait a few days longer and not try to compete with the big football bowl games. Not that LU has great student support but the closer you would get to classes starting the more students would be on campus also. Quote
