I'm glad the men's team had 8 games to go and they lost 4 in a row. However, they came back and won 3 out of their last 4 culminating in today's clinching win. And on the road no less. Pretty clutch for the Cards and here's hoping they are able to maintain this momentum into the SLC tourney. Go Cards!

Good luck to LU Baseball team today. Although this hasn't been one of their better seasons they still have a respectable 6 - 5 record against Top 100 RPI teams this. They have a 2 - 1 record against Top 10 RPI teams. They are capable of winning this tournament.

LU up 3 - 0 after 2 innings. LU turns seldom seen 2 - 4 -3 double play.

Okay I am just wondering as a former semi-regular poster on this board I can't help but wonder what the heck has happened to BRI?

No chatter, not interest about much of anything it seems. I know the Cars haven't been as good as they have in years past this season but they're still a 30+ win team.

I am obviously a Bearkat fan and my Lamar interest declines since I have been gone from there for almost 5 years now, but I am seriously shocked at the lack of "internet interest" from the once faithful Cardinals fans.

And Lamar falls 10-8 eliminating them from the SLC tourney. Will lose 8 seniors from this team (5 pitchers and 3 fielders). Biggest 2 losses will be the best 2 hitters from this year Bumpers and Vidrine. Pitching side well lose our #3 starter and a lot of relief innings. This season featured a team with 18 Juniors so next years team should have a lot of veterans it's just that this was the first D-1 year for most of those

You're not the only one who has noticed it. Several of the more active posters from the past don't come around as often it seems...Cardinal Ambassador is one that comes to mind that hasn't posted in quite a while. I also have an account with KatFans and it honestly makes me a little jealous when I go there an there are 20 unread posts compared to one or maybe 2 on BRI (although I do refresh BRI a lot more often than KFs but still). This is also the time of year where there isn't a whole lot of discussion on here though...football season still seems so far away (even though it's down to double digits days left) baseball just wrapped up, softball is done and basketball is just starting to pick up the pieces from the Pat Knight era with a coach 80% of people on here wanted stoned. I am hoping for a good showing from the football team, and a basketball team that shows some improvement to bring posters back and bring new ones in.

I appreciate your concern and for the continued support here and ask all of you to stay patient. I personally have been logged in here every day just not posting due to an ongoing effort behind the scenes to upgrade the entire site. This is the reason the homepage material hasn't been updated for quite awhile and for the lack of posting here on my part. Soon (hopefully very soon) we'll go live with the new forum and new look homepage that will hopefully help generate more interest in the site from the non regular members as well.

Please don't take that as a complaint against the site...love coming to it everyday and it helps pass the time especially on days like today when I don't have much to do at work lol. Good to hear there are upgrades being made and I agree that should help with membership and activity. Just hope it stays available on Tapatalk. The best way to boost activity however is completely out of your hands...the difference between SHSU and LU at the moment is on-field success...and that is reflected on the respective fan sites. Like I said in my previous post if the football team wins a few more games and the basketball team shows some signs of life in their upcoming seasons then I think this site will be reap the benefits. Thanks for what you do here Mike.

I do agree the Cardinals having more success on the field is the easiest way for interest and traffic to pick up but there are things we can do to help aide in the popularity of the site. I am working them and hopefully we'll be able to launch sooner than later.

Again, I appreciate all you guys/gals support!
