May 21, 201412 yr The Southland Conference becomes the first FCS conference to approve the use of full replay in games. Will be interesting to see how smoothly this goes at the beginning of the year. http://www.southland.org/news/2014/5/21/FB_0521143716.aspx
May 21, 201412 yr Fantastic news IMO. I have seen several very obvious plays blown by officials that could have most definitely been overturned if full replay had been in place.
May 21, 201412 yr They also changed the lame tie breaker playoff/AQ rule too. Obviously that rule doesn't apply to RayRay and the gang.

May 22, 201412 yr This will work only if they have enough cameras to catch every angle or you will have a lot of inconclusive evidence to overturn calls. FBS schools have the budget to field cameras that and they get the benefit of TV coverage. I hope this works because it is certainly useful and needed. I know that SLC games get coverage but it is not the quality of coverage you may be used to seeing in FBS or NFL games.

I know that SLC games get coverage but it is not the quality of coverage you may be used to seeing in FBS or NFL games. Success also highly depends on if the SLC officials can improve on what they tend to struggle at at times now...correcting one call to blow another one on the next play won't help a whole lot
