No joke. This incarnation of the program has never lost to a D2 program. They're just trying to do damage control.

Until Lamar beats them in a couple of weeks I'm not saying a thing. I do think scheduling top D2 schools is better than scheduling cupcakes like Texas College (NAIA), which was more like a scrimmage than a game.

If y'all think LU's schedule and a 3-1 record has better prepared them than Sam's schedule 1-3 record, y'all are delusional. This game is hard to predict...LU should be on the rise and fans shouldn't expect anything but success in LU's 5th year (actually 7th year of preparation). AND - with a new coach over in BearKats Country (spelled correctly) they only played 2 seniors against CS-P (not that that's an excuse) will be young and moving in a new direction.

 

So with both teams coming into this game at pivitol point in the program and with an opposite perspective on scheduling it's difficult to know how this game will go........Eat'em Up Kats
