LUSportsFan Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Exactly...he has the ability that was shown in HS and at halftime...which leads me to believe he kicks it out of bounds by design from the ST coordinator/Woodard due to not wanting a big return. Do I agree with that? No. But that's my guess if what's going on. After looking at the pathetic coverage in the Grambling game, I think kicking it out of bounds may be a good strategy. It's a lot better to start defending on the other guys side of the field even if it is in the 30-40 yd range, than starting defense on our side of the field around our 40 because of horrible coverage.
