LUSportsFan Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) The Cardinals will be playing the #13 (AP) Iowa State Cyclones tomorrow @ 7:00 pm (CST). The Lamar Cardinals (2-4) enter the week with only one game on the docket, but it couldn't be a tougher opponent as Big Red travels to Ames, Iowa, to take on No. 13 Iowa State Tuesday. LAZEEK Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 My son and I are here with the team. Long flight in last night. But had a great breakfast and meeting this morning. Headed to shoot around now. Man it's cold, and still some snow on the ground. Quote
LAZEEK Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 This has been a great trip so far. Coaches have really gone out of their way to welcome my son and I. Now lets get that W tonight against the Cyclones!!! Quote
coachacola Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 LU down 14-10, 12 minutes left in 1st half. Quote
coachacola Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 LU down 33-20 with a few minutes left in the 1st half. Gregory has 7 points, Tyran 0. Quote
Sweet T Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Why didnt Tyran play much? Why did we start pressing? The game plan is confusing me. Quote
coachacola Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I think Tyran picked up 2 early fouls. I noticed Hollis was playing and he doesn't get much playing time. Gregory has 9 points and 5 rebounds to lead the team, followed by 6 points from Bosha (2 3-ptrs), 5 points from Sears, 2 from Holliday. Quote
LAZEEK Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What a great experience to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Cards fought hard, but way out manned by a team that made a deep run in the NCAA tourney last year. Foul trouble and turnovers really hurt LU tonight. Quote
eagle eye Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Losing to a top 20 team is no shame. One more road game and the long road trek will be over. Quote
