LUSportsFan Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) from lamarcardinals.com It began a month ago with the Lamar Cardinals basketball team traveling to Texas State for the third game of the season, and it comes to an end Saturday in Edinburg, Texas. Lamar has been on the road for six of its first seven games to start the 2014-15 season, including the last five contests. That stretch has seen the Cardinals face two nationally ranked opponents (SMU and Iowa State), play in close games at Indiana and Arkansas State as well as taking on in-state foe, Texas Southern, who advanced to the 2014 NCAA Championships. The Cardinals end the road trip Saturday with a 7 p.m. game at Texas-Pan American.
