[Men's Hoops] Milligan at Lamar - Friday 7:00 pm at the Montagne

The Lamar Cardinals return to the friendly confines of the Montagne Center Friday when it hosts Milligan College at 7 p.m. Lamar (3-6) enters the contest looking to win consecutive non-conference games for the first time since the 2011-12 season following Monday's blowout victory over Champion Baptist. The Cardinals posted a 128-54 victory over Champion Baptist to record one of the most lopsided victories in school history.

 

Once again, Lamar will be hosting a toy drive at the Montagne Center. Every fan who brings a new, unopened toy will receive a free general admission ticket to Friday's game.

LU wins 80 - 53. Another very sparse crowd. Milligan was a much better team than Champions but LU took the foot off of the gas in the 2nd half to work on the half court offense and defense. We'll see Monday if the two cupcake games and being at home help the confidence going against a D-1 school like Rice.
