geezer Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Have to control the turnovers. Seventeen is unacceptable. Gregory seems to be coming along. Hopefully he will continue to improve. Quote

Agree Fouls and turnovers. There was a big disparity in the number of fouls even before the Cardinals end of game fouls. Score might have been worse if the Demons had not shot below their average on free throws. Points off of foul shots NSU 22 LU 13 Edited January 17, 2015 by LUSportsFan Quote
RUMAD Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 What do you mean exactly? He practically carries the team Quote
geezer Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Which player are you referring to as carrying the team? I know earlier in the thread I mentioned Holiday in regards to the players in foul trouble as potentially the most damaging at that point in the game. A couple of posts back I mentioned improvement on Gregory's part. Also between myself and others the number of turnovers "led by Holiday". I wouldn't say either of those players are carrying the team. Yes Holiday has been high scorer the last three games I believe but points scored aren't the whole story. I may look at it a little different but 25 points - a potential 14 for turnovers and 8 for potential free throws from four fouls is a net of three points positive.
