The blowout starts early. Lamar up 14 to 2 at the first media time out with 14:36 left in the first half.

After busting out to the early lead LU substitutions and shot selection falters and LU lead down to seven points at the under four minute timeout.

This team and is pathetic.

At halftime Lamar is up by ten at 46 to 36. Overall I would describe this half as unimpressive. LU jumped out to the early lead but had too many turnovers and too many fouls considering that HP is a D3 school.. Once the starters came out Lamar got sloppy and never got back into the rhythm that they opened the game up with. Edited December 30, 2015 by geezer

Lamar playing much better the second half.

Lamar wins 97 to 74. Chatman had a really good 2nd half. My biggest disappointment in this game was LU's poor transition defense and that they got out rebounded. I know this team is still a work in progress and I only hope that they can compete better in conference than they did last year.

our best players are all first year guys at lamar.I think they'll get better defensively as the year goes on.

I think they play "down" to the level of the competition.

I agree. I am hoping that zjori will suddenly shot lights out, but I don't think it will happen for him this season. Too many injuries, and lack of endurance due to not having an offseason is a lot to overcome, unfortunately.
