geezer Posted May 5, 2016 Share Posted May 5, 2016 While mid-week games in the middle of conference are not normally a real indicator of anything other than development of pitching prospects and maybe some position players who don't normally play on the weekend, a win would have potentially helped in gaining an at large berth for the NCAA tourney. The good news is that for the conference regular season championship and the post season LU holds it's destiny in it's own hands.
