geezer
Good first half for LU as the Cards are leading by one at halftime. While there are no meaningless games in conference this is a game the Cards must win to stay in the top tier. The Cards only have two home games left after tonight, so winning all three is really needed. Of the five road games Lamar already has a home loss to AMCC, haven't beaten SFA up there in years, lost at HBU last year and while they beat both Northwestern St and McNeese at home it's probably five or six years since winning at NWST and over a decade since winning at McNeese. The two home games are HBU which we will see how it goes over there Saturday and Nicholls who we beat on the road.
geezer
Cards miss critical free throws going down the stretch and wind up tied at the end of the 2nd half, so another overtime game is in the works and the Cards have already lost two OT games at home this year. Maybe the third time is the charm?
geezer
Cards win 80-76 in overtime. As stated previously the next four are on the road and the Cards really need to win at least two of these games. Saturday is at HBU so I hope Card fans that can will make the trip to Houston. LU1991
I haven't seen the Montagne like that in a few years. Great to see LU competing again and Winning!
eagle eye
Great win for LU!! That makes four of their last 5 games they have won! They have Houston Baptist tonight and SFA next week which will be another big one. The real challenging thing is 5 of LU's last 7 games are on the road. If they can stay in the top half of the draw they will have earned it.
