geezer
Tight game through most of it. Lamar led by four at half and once it got under 10 minutes the Cards opened up the lead to ten points with about two minutes to go. Since then the Cards are holding on to the lead but only because SELA hasn't taken advantage of the Cards mistakes. Like most of the year when the game starts getting tight near the end the turnovers begin to rare their head. Even coach Price got into the mistake area picking up a technical four for getting to far out onto the court to complain about a call for traveling on Chatman. Fortunately SELA only hit one of the free throws and missed a shot after getting the ball. Cards did hold on to win 77-65.

Skinny1
Cards play SFA tomorrow at 7:30 PM Last night was my first time at the Merrell Center in Katy. Nice place, but the lighting seemed not to be as good as other SLC venues - kinda dark. Did it look that way on TV? Not near as nice and large as the Montagne - reminded me of Ford Park in Beaumont. Going back to see the Cards beat SFA tonight! Btw - Lamar's Pep Band is awesome - best fans in the house!!!!
