geezer
Scheduled 7:30 start following the ladies game but may be just a couple of minutes late as they allow a full thirty minutes between games. This should be a game that everyone gets some playing time.
geezer
7:48 left in the first half and the game is progressing about as expected. Lamar up by nine points. Main disappointment so far is overall defensive intensity as Bosh and Sullivan each have two fouls and Foster picked up his first foul in his first minute of action. Can blame Sullivan and Foster's foul issue as inexperience as they are both true freshman. This game is probably much closer than it should be at this point. geezer
End of first half and Lamar leads 52 - 30. Sullivan and Bosh each have two fouls, four players have one foul a piece. TJ Atwood has had a nice first half and glad to see him getting some playing action. Weisbrod is making a liar out of me in this game as he has made two three pointers. geezer
Looks like Lamar has ten players dressed out for this game and five on the bench in sweats with one of those in a walking boot.

Houston Hoops
This is why I love the game. It has two halves. Time to get it in gear that 2nd half. 7:48 left in the first half and the game is progressing about as expected. Lamar up by nine points. eagle eye
Lamar won a game against a lesser opponent by a wide margin which is what good teams do. Maybe this is a good team? It sure looks like it early on beginning with the win over Tulsa. The schedule tightens up the next 4 games with Ca St Bakersfield, southern U, UTEP and the road game against Coastal Carolina. The good thing that I have noticed is there hasn’t been any complaints about the Cards strength of their non-conference schedule. IMO Coach Price has put together a nice slate of games. There aren’t any high dollar, high profile games but good competition to help LU get ready for conference play. Next up is Cal St Bakersfield Sunday. Sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon. Hope to see lots of fans at the Montagne at 3:00 o’clock.
