Through the first twelve minutes it has been a tight game. With 7:52 left in the first half the Cards are up by three at 19 - 16. This is a rematch following the game in Beaumont which Lamar won.

Halftime and Lamar leads 29 -25. Coastal's stat tracker doesn't show all of the stats, but as the score indicates it is a pretty even game. Weisbrod has 13 points and 5 rebounds to lead the Cardinals. Harrison has three fouls and Bosha has two for the Cards. Nzeakor, Garth and Atwood each have one foul. For Coastal three players have two fouls and two players have one a piece.

34 seconds remaining and the game is now tied at 56 a piece. Cards have made several mistakes but obviously haven't made a shot in the last three minutes.

Cards get the win 69 -67. With no video and only hearing the Lamar announcer this game sounded like the officiating really helped keep Coastal in the game as there were many times he indicated he thought Coastal should have been called for fouls that turned out to be no calls. The other things that kept them in the game were rebounds where Coastal got 18 more than the Cards and free throw percentage. Next game Tuesday evening in Beaumont.
