geezer
Tomorrow evening the men play IW in San Antonio while the ladies are at home. The ladies are currently in fourth place at 4-1 in conference play sitting a game and a half behind UCA and ACU and a half game behind SFA. IW is 2-3 with losses to both UCA and ACU as well as an opening loss to McNeese. Could shape up for a good contest. Mean while the men who have lost three straight games including two home games take on the IW men who are 0-5 so far. All of their losses are to teams ahead of Lamar in the standings so I don't place a lot of hope in the fact that IW hasn't won in conference yet as a positive. Besides Lamar men's sports have made a habit of blowing what should be good wins. Both games begin at 7:00 PM.
baller
The ladies game has recently been moved to Thursday night. The men are facing a team that lost to McNeese by over 20 points in Lake Charles.I think ICW,Northwestern and Corpus are the dregs this year with HBU close behind. If we play hard and reasonably smart we should win.Corpus got whacked by Nichols by 30 points tonight in front of a little over 200 fans.If Nichols wasn't in first place imagine what their attendance would be.Since smart AD's put in the box score the higher of tickets sold or people in the seats Nichols must have only about 200 season ticket holders.Ouch!!!!! geezer
Da"Shawn Robinson sees his first action of the season with about thirteen minutes left in the first half. Assume he didn't play during the first semester due to transfer rules, but that wouldn't explain why he hadn't played earlier in January. The game started with out Frenchwood not dressed out again so maybe he was going to sit out the entire year but with Frenchwood's injury Price had to use him now, kind of like burning a red shirt in the last part of a football season. At the under eight time out Lamar is up by eight points at 25-17.
geezer
Halftime and Lamar is up by thirteen at 47-34. Lamar is in pretty good shape in the foul category as Harrison and Robinson each have two fouls and six other players each have one. Nzeakor, Weisbrod and Garth are all in double figures and the Cards up one on rebounds and only have two turnovers. We'll see if Lamar learned anything since last week when the second half starts. geezer
11:48 left in the game and Lamar is up by sixteen but aren't playing as well as they did in the first half as over this eight minute period, Harrison picked up two more fouls, Nzeakor picked up two fouls and Garth has picked up two fouls. Need to play good defense without fouling.

baller
The Women took 38 more shots from the field and,6 more foul shots.Forcing 35 turnovers and out rebounding your opponent is a strong predictor of success.38 more shots is sick!!!!!!!
