spoonbill Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 I heard he was told "you aren't the type of quarterback we are looking for". So, obviously he was never given a shot with the idiot Dulz. Morse probably throws better left handed than Colbert. Anyway, he's a better person than me, I would have told Dulz where to stick it if that is really what he was told. Good luck to Morse, I hope he lights it up.I think you pretty much nailed it. Like I said they coulda told him that last offseason but they kept him around by giving him hope so he could be a safety net. It happens I guess in collegiate sports. He was a trooper and very trusting I believe. He'll be fine. Good lesson for the young man. Hoping he lights it up too. Also, #PeckEm :-) Quote

KABrother88 Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 Judging by the offer list, looks like a big time pick up. For what it’s worth, he’s listed as a Texas State commit on Rivals. However, I’ve been told by someone well respected in the recruiting industry that Texas State didn’t accept his commitment. Don’t know what the circumstances are or how much truth there is to it but it might be something to monitor come the next signing day on Feb 6th. Quote

KABrother88 Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Adeyi is an interesting case. He initially committed to Houston in September and signed with them in the December signing period. Then he “decommitted” from Houston last week. I used “ “ cause since he was signed, the school would have to sign off on releasing him from his letter of intent. Then he gets an offer from SFA and SHSU, then he posts on twitter that he has been released from his LOI and gets an offer from Lamar. Normal NCAA transfer rules should still be in place since he signed a LOI with Houston meaning he could be eligible immediately at the FCS level but would have to sit out a year at the FBS level. This happened with a high profile player this year in 5-Star WR Bru McCoy. Committed to USC and even enrolled early. His 1st day on campus was the day it was announced new USC OC Kliff Kingsbury (who was a big part in McCoy signing with USC) would be new Arizona Cardinals HC. McCoy then opted to transfer to Texas. What a world we live in... Quote
