puddin tane
I'll start off the predictions. LU - 3 Bye Week - 28 Bye week 3 LU 0 our closest game this year, but a stout Bye defense and late field goal dooms the Cards Stay the course, trust the process, says Shitz
geezer
NOT that the previous part of the season hasn't been ugly but the next two weeks look pretty bleak as IW put up 52 on SELA and Sam scored 54 on SFA. Something has to change and soon. Come on basketball season.
LU17
UIW threw for 400 yards and over 600 in total offense. Isn’t the UIW head coach in his first year?

But, you can't expect results in the first year. He needs time to get them headed the right direction (oh wait, he's already won 3 conference games...isn't that 3 times as many as our dipwad?) His kind of players? How many dual-threat QBs does he want on the team?
LU17
UIW head coach is a former player (wide receiver) under Mike Leach so he knows complex passing attacks. This is going to be embarrassing. UIW is going to pick us apart, but I bet our QB will have more rushing yards than the UIW QB. That means a lot even if we lose the game. Their qb ,Copeland, isnt a dual threat. “Trust the process......I coached LT, dammit”
WildCard
I've heard rumors that Dultz gets at least 2 more years to "install his system", and "recruit his kind of players". Just be patient. I hear we have just become the first to offer 8-year old Daylen Tomlinson.....and we are scouting his younger sister.

Why is it that it seems everyone else hires Mike Leach Jr./Bill Belichick jr and we hire Elmer Fudd/Darrell Royal
geezer
Think about who did the hiring. Lamar hasn't had a real AD in decades if ever. No offense to you Billy Tubbs fans, he was ahead of his time with the up tempo game and may have been the best recruiter Lamar has ever had, but he also got lucky as one of his top players at LU was a gift from a friend that knew the player wasn't going to get an offer from North Carolina. AS the AD and coach when he returned Tubbs demonstrated that he was great for working with the community to restore the football program but not that good at picking coaches. When Tubbs went to Oklahoma he was blessed with Tisdale and a legend was born. But his exit from Lamar allowed for multiple good candidates to apply and LU got lucky in picking Foster. Foster kept LU at the level they were at and was a big part of why the Montagne was built but he couldn't get Lamar to the next level and when he left the coaching decline began. Dropping football and not staying in the Sunbelt conference just made getting a good coach that much harder and without administration support until Simmons came on board. Unfortunately mediocrity has become the norm. I'm hoping LU has finally gotten lucky with the new AD.
