So far a low scoring game with 10:24 in 1st half, LU down by 1, 10-11

Going to the 2nd media timeout at the 10:24 mark. Cards have looked very unsure offensively, with the guards dribbling into trouble and forcing shots. Price finally has gone with a slightly bigger line up with. Barrett joining Nzeakor and Atwood up front and juist two smaller guards. Cards are down by two at 11-9.

At the under eight minute time out and the Cards have taken a one point lead at 12-11. Good news for the Cards is that CC can't score either.

Lamar can’t score from 3 point line, shooting less than 50% free throws, and has 13 turnovers in the first half. Can’t win many games with that performance.

At the Half and CC is up by four 22-18. Cards are shooting a poor 28% from the field including 1-8 from three point range. Free throws stink also at 5-12 and turnovers continue to be a problem with thirteen.

7:09 left in the game and LU is up by one 44-43. Both teams are shooting better in the second half and so far the Cards are doing a little better on turnovers.

Game tied at the four minute timeout. Can the Cards step up oer the last four minutes?

Final Lamar 61- CC 55. Cards came through by cutting down the turnovers with only six in the second half and after only making 11 of their first 23 free throws the Cards make ten of eleven before missing three once the game was put away. Atwood had a solid second half finishing with a game high twenty two points including 7-8 from the free throw line. CC did a really good job of controlling Nzeakor by double teaming him most of the time and limiting him to just six points. Nzeakor did get thirteen rebounds. Edited January 6, 2019 by geezer
