coachacola
According to Massey Ratings, Miss Valley State was 1-10 and rated the worst FCS team in the country. I like the fact the LU has two home games to get ready for Texas A&M and conference play but couldn't they find at least a little tougher competition? coachacola
I looked up Bethel TN and they were one of the top NAIA teams this year. They put up more points against Kentucky Christian (winning 92-12) than LU did.

So we could be favored! LOL

geezer
You mean Lamar + 70 I think, although A&M might lighten up as they play Auburn the following week.
Skinny1
You mean Lamar + 70 I think, although A&M might lighten up as they play Auburn the following week. Or as former Lamar basketball coach Jack Martin said going into a game at U of H when they were ranked #2 in the nation (1968) “ not sure how we can win this game, but I’m pretty sure that throughout history, more miraculous things have happened “. Skinny1
To quote the great philosopher Odd Ball,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fisqGENobc Odd Ball also was concerned with “negative vibes “. The LU faithful need to promote “positive vibes”.
