Not sure where this LU team has been, Cards shoot 56% from the field, make four of five at the free throw line, virtually double up Nicholls on the boards and only had five turn overs. Nzeakor does have two fouls and Sullivan has three for five of the six LU fouls. Cards have had the best ball movement offensively that I've seen all year against any of their D-1 opponents. Not sure where this performane came from but, finally an enjoyable game to watch. LU shoots 54% from the field and make 25 of 27 free throws. Lamar out rebounded Nicholls 39-25. The Cards committed just nine turnovers on the night which is less than the average for the first half alone on most nights. Barrett had 17- points and twelve rebounds. With a 24 made FTs Lamar had a 20 point advantage on FTs alone. Lamar dominated the paint with Barrett and Nzeakor playing a complete game.
