I would tend to agree that your probably not going to get a young big that can come in and contribute immediately but you might find one that will develop. I think LU has enough in the mid-range height category to hold their own in the SLC the next couple of years. Barrett will be a beast next year assuming he progresses over the off season.

 

And it appears Coach Price has a history of not developing the big men so I'm not too optimistic about that. Seems like every year they have a couple of good 6-6 to 6-8 guys that can play. I'd like to see about 4 or 5 that can Coach Price could rotate in and out during the game without much of a dropoff in quality because invariably one or two will get in foul trouble. Of course that's probably just as difficult as finding one good big man.

Tic recruited Stan Brown, Osas Ebomwonyi (oh, what could have been), Colton Weisbrod and Josh Nzeakor to Lamar.

 

That’s a solid slate of guys who made a positive mark on the program. What we need are more shooters!
