Whatever the reason, good luck to him. It looks like the QB depth chart is Jordan Hoy, Shane Johnson and Jermaine Givens.

Looking at the roster today and found a few more FBS transfers:

 

DB Cameron Hayes from U of Hawaii. He's a senior and doesn't look like he got much playing time at Hawaii.
