Rice is a nice home game. Hopefully, there are a few more home games of this quality.

I like this kind of scheduling. LU will get its brains beat out but, If I was a middle range recruit, this would be an incentive to join LU. To have this chance, to see what it's like to step on the floor with the big boys, it's a once in a lifetime shot.

I hope Rice isn't the only home D-1 non-conference game. Also hope the rest of the road non-conference games are against quality opponents. Personally I would rather win seventeen conference games with a SLC tourney championship and no non-conference pre-conference wins.
