LU at Kentucky

Featured Replies

Yes anything from a Lamar upset to a forty point beat down of LU is possible tonight. I'm hoping for a similar game to what Utah Valley had with them. Utah Valley was hot from three point range against Kentucky and shot poorly against LU.
Kentucky had 2 starters out for the Mt St Mary’s and Utah Valley games. They are expected to be back tonight.
Played much better in 2nd half.played to much zone in in 1st half and Kentucky hit some three’s.man defense looked much better.hopefully were better for the experience.
I didn't get to see or listen to hardly any of the game today, but from what I did catch of the first half, LU had one of those draught periods through the middle of the half where Kentucky went on about a 20 -2 run over a five or six minute time span. That was a hole that was too deep for an inexperienced team to come back from. Neither Muoka or Nickerson scored and I will guess that had to do with the defense of Kentucky. Looking at the Box Score, Kentucky used 11 players tonight compared with only seven or eight available in their game with Utah Valley. At least one or two of them would have had a lot of playing time against UVU had they been available from what I heard on that broadcast. A twenty five point loss is not what I hoped for, but it is still better than it might have been. Hopefully the Cards can learn from this and have another really good game at UAB.
If this were 1985 I'd be disappointed in the margin. If 2019 I'm encouraged by it. Just look at the women's score.
