Cards travel to Ft Worth tomorrow for a 2:00 PM game.

Hopefully everyone is available.

Massey has Lamar as a fifteen point underdog with a 10% chance of winning. Massey has TCU ranked lower than Duquesne currently and LU had a chance to win that game up until the last couple of minutes. Here's hoping for a closer game and maybe a statement win.

It would be a great boost to the teams confidence if they could leave Ft. Worth with a win.

 

Game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.

Kain injured his knee and it never got better. I believe he had surgery on the knee this past week.

Cards make it to the first timeout with a two point lead at 10-8 with 15:10 on the clock.

It's early but Sullivan is looking pretty good.

TCU is taller at virtually every position. Cards are getting out rebounded early.

Kopp is dressed out. Maybe he'll play today.

TCU made multiple substituions and picked up their intensity quite a bit. Cards have a few turnovers and are now down by tqo with 11:30 left in the first half.

Too many turnovers in a game like this.

Over the last four minutes the Cards have zero field goals, four turnovers and are now down by ten points. Sloppy passes, no offensive movement.

Cards finally get a field goal at the 4:06 mark. First since 13:03, almost nine minutes. Points off turnovers are fueling TCU.

Halftime finds the Cards down by22 points. Cards get a total of one field goal and three free throws over the last thirteen minutes of the first half. Atwood is scoreless. LU has a total of fourteen turnovers.

Lamar has played better in the second half, but with 6:59 left in the game LU is still down by seventeen.

Cards go cold again and fail to score over the last 4:26 of the game. Final score TCU 79 - LU 50. Atwood is held to three points on the day. Lamar had five second half turnovers but most of those were in the last five minutes. Sullivan had another double double and this one was a quality game as TCU has a quality inside player also. I hope Price figures out an actual half court offense some year but I'm not holding out any real hope. Looked like Kopp did suit up today but he still did not play at all.

A combination of Lamar’s short guards and lack of an effective half court offense led to the Cards getting blown out. TCU outside shooters looked like they were shooting in a warm-up.
