Skinny1 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 After the 1st quarter Lamar women leading 14-12. Cards started cold from field and foul line but played good defense to get back in the game. Quote
Skinny1 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Halftime: Girls maintain 2 point lead at 25-23. Cards shooting less than 50% from foul line. Rebounding about even, but LU has advantage in turnovers 7 to 13. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 At the under 12 media TO Lamar men trail 17-14. Quote

Skinny1 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 End of 3rd quarter for the women with Cards leading 43-36. Foul shooting has been atrocious. NWSt turnovers are really hurting them. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Lamar men down 2 at halftime, 31-29. Quote

Skinny1 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Women win 61-58 in a game dominated by the officials. A total of 53 personal fouls were called. Actually they called 54 but time had expired in the game prior to the foul being called. Women Cards are 2-0 in SLC. Quote
geezer Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 After Lamar got out to their largest lead of nine points with just over ten minutes left, NwST have come back to take a one point lead with a little over four nminutes left. Quote
geezer Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 (edited) Cards are in real trouble as Atwood fouls out with 3:38 left in the game. Cards are in another of their shooting funks and not taking good shots. Edited December 21, 2019 by geezer Quote
geezer Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I don't understand why after getting good minutes from Morrison, Nickerson and Sohail in non-conference lay none have played in either of the two conference games. Quote
geezer Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 NwST closes out the game with a 67-61 win. Lamar scores only ten points in the final eight minutes while giving up twenty three. Sullivan comes up one rebound short of another double double. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 LU has not finished the games well all season. Quote
lu cards Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Time for baseball and time to find a new basketball coach.i like tic but enough is enough!!! Quote
coachacola Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 NWST picks up their first D1 win of the season against LU. I guess we should thank Coach Price for bringing LU basketball back from the abyss to mediocrity, but that's about as far as he'll take them. When does his contract end? Quote
lamarfan360 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I like Coach Price and will reserve judgment till after the season. I don't see Born wanting to can the MBB coach after firing the football and volleyball coaches. Quote
geezer Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I think it depends on when Price's contract is up. I don't see a problem from a public relations stand point of making a change, but can the department afford another buy out? If your fed up with mediocrity then find somebody better. Let's face it LU is mediocre in the three major men's sports, maybe it is time to start over. Quote
