geezer
Assuming Buster still isn't available. It's time to let the freshmen play, although if the Cards don't make the tourney then I think it will be difficult to keep Price another year. Skinny1
Wow, what's up with the WBB team this year? Too short & can’t shoot consistently. The inside players struggle on defense. This just my opinion though.
geezer
Cards could possibly be further ahead, but after playing a really solid first fifteen minutes LU has multiple turnovers in the last five minutes. Cards are winning the battle of the boards. Sullivan has 18 points at the half, but only 3 rebounds.
Skinny1
Lady Cards had a good 3rd quarter, trailing by only 2 points now, 45-47.
geezer
Eleven minutes left and Cards are now down by five after coming out and increasing their lead before allowing Nicholls to go on a ten - zero run. Usual issues for the Cards, stagnant half court offense, turnovers and poor shot selection over about six minute stretch.

geezer
Men fall by four. Cards have a six minute and a four minute drought of scoring over the last fifteen minutes. Bright spot for the Cards, Sohail ten points. Big negitive is turnovers as the Cards end the game with 17. Only 2 of 11 from three point range. baller
Lamar was very competitive against 2nd place Nichols on the road.We turned it over more than them but we also got more rebounds and blocks to balance out the turnover disparity. We shot free throws well and matched the Colonels shooting percentage. They basically beat us by making more threes than us.We did not shoot a good three point percentage.Buster, back from a sprained ankle, did not shoot as well as usual.Holmes being out with illness didn’t help as he provides defense, rebounding, ball handling, depth and opportunistic scoring.Only two tough road games are left and 4 home games. If any of their top players are ill or injured it will be tough, not impossible, for this team to win. geezer
Yes Lamar got out scored by six points on three pointers, but turnovers is something the Cards control, Nicholls out scored Lamar by eight on points off of turnovers. Either way LU didn't do what they needed to win the game and it also makes a difference when the three pointers are made and when the turnovers happen. Lamar failed to score from 4:04 left in the game until nine seconds left. During that time Nicholls made one three pointer and LU had two turnovers.
