geezer Posted February 22, 2020 Share Posted February 22, 2020 Cards win game one of the series 3-1. Cards got two runs in the first on a hit and two TXST errors. Michael pitch six scoreless innings with six strike outs. Cards got their third run in the top of the ninth before giving up one run charged to Olivarez who walked the lead off hitter followed by a single, a wild pitch from Dallas in relief. Dallas then got out of the inning with a foul ball, a fielders choice that gave up a run, a walk and a strike out to end the game. Game two is Saturday at 2:30. Skinny1 Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 Cards fall in game 3 Sunday 8-7. Was 8-6 through the 1st 2 innings, and then the game settled down. Lamar had a chance to tie the game several times in the last 3 innings, but couldn’t get the timely hit and Texas State made some outstanding defensive plays.
