The good part of this game is that we get an early indication of whether the tough non-conference schedule will improve the Card's performance in the conference. ACU has twelve fouls to seven for Lamar, but Jefferson has three of the fouls. After six turnovers in the first six minutes of the game the Cards close out the half with a total of eight. ACU came out extremely hot in the second half and built as much as a nineteen point lead, but have it back to fourteen and has two of the ACU players with four fouls. During a Coach Price interview recently, he stated that Kasen Harrison would be one of the best PG's to ever play at Lamar. That is lofty praise for a true freshman.
