Entering Saturday’s contest, Harrison is the Southland’s third-leading freshman scorer, and the league’s second-leading scorer among true freshmen (10.4 ppg). He has reached double figures in each of the team’s last five games, and is averaging 12.6 points per game during that stretch while continuing to be one of the Southland's top assist leaders. lamarfan360
Lamar shooting woes continue as they have a 1 point lead, 12 to 11 over HBU at the 10:57 mark of the first half.

geezer
Not really a positive but HBU is even sloppier with thirteen turnovers to this point.
lamarfan360
Lamar is beating themselves with poor shooting and turnovers. At halftime the game is tied at 30.
geezer
HBU takes a timeout with four seconds left in the half after a made basket by Lamar to get the lead back to three. After the timeout Lamar allows HBU to get the ball three quarters of the way up the court and hit a three to tie the game at 30. Lack of intensity at the end. geezer
What's the old story about the last five minutes of the first half and the first five of the second. Well Lamar is down by fifteen over that time frame this afternoon.
Skinny1
Not sure which team wants to lose more talent wise LU has a definite edge. Coaching is probably a toss-up.
lamarfan360
Lamar down 4 with 11:53 left to play.
geezer
I'll give on court coaching to HBU. Lamar might have a little more pure talent. Lamar has played seven players so far and HBU has played eleven.
lamarfan360
I don't know the percentage but HBU is on fire in the second half from the 3 point line.
lamarfan360
The Cards have made a run and took the lead at the 3:54 mark of the 2nd half, 60 to 56.
geezer
HBU is shooting 39% from three point land which is decent but it is really good compared to Lamar's 19% three point shooting.
lamarfan360
Lamar wins 71 to 65 over HBU!
geezer
Important win if Lamar is going to do anything in conference. While Lamar still made many of their usual mistakes, a couple of positives were Sullivan playing all forty minutes and the play of Bennet and Smith. Lamar played a lot of the second half without Buster who picked up his third foul early in the second half.
