Skinny1
With 3:30 left in 1st half Cards are behind 27-24 - poor shooting on both teams.
geezer
Lamar has played a solid first half, only down by three with 3:20 left in the first half. The Cards looked real good until Kopp came in the first time. Then a forced shot and lack luster defense by Kopp got Nicholls going. I don't understand why Price puts up with his play and doesn't give some of the other players the same oportunity.
geezer
Cards go from playing Nicholls even through the first sixteen minutes of the half to down by seven at half time. Nicholls up 37 -

geezer
The last four minutes of the first half is where the game was lost. Not saying Lamar would have won had they not given Nicholls the seven point lead over that period of time, but LU ultimately lost by five. Skinny1
It was obvious to me that Nicholls wanted to win the game more. I liked the enthusiasm that the Nicholls players and head coach showed during the game. Other than Smith, did not exist with Lamar. I am afraid we have fallen into the mindset of losers.
