The article from the Lamar web site set the bar low for this week already. "it will be a tough week as Lamar plays three games in five nights" or something similar. I think the only real question is how bad does Lamar loose by? My guess is at least twenty points in each game. Wednesdays game is probably the only one that might be closer.

So far Lamar doing a decent job of trying to get the ball inside and take advantage of Sullivan and Muoka height advantage. Also officials calling a loose game. A lot of contact not being called either direction.

With 11:46 left in the 1st half, Lamar leads 13-10.

Lamar was holding the lead until Kopp blows a couple of three point shots that miss and Sullivan goes out for a break. Sam hits two three's to take the lead.

Under eight minute media time out finds the game tied at 18. Muoka just picked up his second foul so Sam will be shooting free throws coming out the time out.

Typical, Lamar fades in the final 5 minutes of the first half every game!

Three minutes left in the half. Sam up by four and going to the free throw line. Last few minutes of the first half and beginning of second half have been part of Lamar's nightmare all year long.

Down by 9 with 2 minutes in half, Price takes 0-6 Kopp out, and we pull within 2 at halftime.

I'd love to be wrong about my prediction regarding tonight's game.:cool:

Sullivan goes out with three fouls. Kopp replaces him. Can the Cards stay close until Sullivan can come back in?

Lamar is within striking distance, down 58-55 to SHSU with 6:50 left in the game.

6:50 left and Lamar down by one. Sullivan is back in. Harrison is out for a break. Actually looks like Price is trying to give each starter a break befor the four minute mark.

Agreed! I think we can look back at that 4 point play and conclude that is where we lost this game.

Worst part is the dumb plays are consistently made by Seniors. If there is any question why Lamar has had such a disappointing season, I think that is the reason. Lack of upper classmen leadership.
