Top of the 5th inning, SFA ties game after a lead off single, then a pass ball gets runner second, SFA sacrifice bunts runner to third, & another single scores the run.

Bravo took a hard hit to the leg, but stayed in to finish inning.

Lamar has activity in bullpen.

Bottom of the 5th, Lamar gets 2 on courtesy of 2 walks, Tony Quirion gets a single to drive in a run. Lamar gets 2 hit batters in a row to take a 3-1 lead. Activity in SFA bullpen.

Lamar strand 3 runners after a long fly ball out to left center.

After 5 innings:

Lamar: 3 runs, 7 hits, 1 error

SFA: 1 run, 4 hits, 0 errors

Bravo back out on the mound to pitch the 6th inning.

The second good pitching outing for Lamar. Last year the bullpen wasn't able to stop the bleeding or keep a lead. If the offense continues to improve maybe it will be a decent year. Always good to get the Friday night win.

This team has some talent and seems to be really good defensively. Very good speed in the outfield and hopefully the bullpen can improve over previous Davis teams.
